What is the Good Shepherd's Women’s Auxiliary?
We are a group of women who see our responsibility to our Church and Community, a response of our faith. We choose to work together to be at service as a support and aid to Good Shepherd and the community. The members share a generous spirit and love for our Church that makes membership a joy.
Who is invited to join?
Any woman over the age of 18 with a commitment to service.
Since Our Inception in September 2013, We Have Given Service to Our Parish in Many Ways:
- Christmas goodie bags for the children served by Outreach 2013 -2018
- Valentines Candy Sale to raise money to give Donuts for Dad and Mother’s Day Gifts to all parishioners.
- Prepared poppers filled with religious toys and treats for the Holy Thursday Family Celebration
- Printed and assembled replacement copies of the Stations of the Cross used by the faithful on Good Friday.
- Cook and serve food for Alpha each season.
- Help cook for the newly baptized family blessing.
- Helped each year with the Annual Auction
- Sponsor a family with gifts and food for Christmas
- Donated to Youth Group mission trip
- Donated to Fr. Rufus’ home parish
- Planned and coordinated a yearly Marian event.
